Welcome

You have chosen to complete OATH’s online community service course.

Depending on your summons, the online course takes either one or two hours to complete. You can take breaks throughout your session as needed. During the session, you will need to use a mouse or touchpad. You will read words on the screen and there is occasional audio (though hearing it is not necessary to complete the course). Your computer will need a stable internet connection for your entire session.

Before we get started...
Please answer a few questions to ensure that you are eligible to complete community service to resolve your summons. If you need any assistance to complete these questions, please call the OATH Help Center at (212) 436-0845 during normal business hours.

Verification question 1 of 7:

Eligibility for the community service course is based on the charge on your summons. To determine whether your charge is eligible, please select the OATH code that is on your summons.

The OATH Code can be found on your summons or your decision:

If you do not see your OATH code listed, the community service course is not offered for your summons. Learn how to pay your summons, or learn how to contest your summons by participating in an OATH hearing.

Not sure what your OATH code is? You can browse a list of all codes here.

If you do not have a computer or if you need assistance, you may complete your community service in person at any OATH Hearings Division location. To get more information, please contact the OATH Help Center.
